Vision and Mission

Our Mission Statement

The mission of St. Luke's Presbyterian Church is to proclaim the Word of God in Jesus Christ, nurture and support one another, and serve the community.

Our Vision Statement

We are a family of faith, joyfully worshiping in the church headed by Jesus Christ.
“Worship the LORD with gladness.” - Ps. 100:2
“And he has put all things under his feet and has made him the head over  all things for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.”
- Ephesians 1:22-23

We are a learning community, celebrating God’s gifts through new learning experiences together.
“Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread together and ate their food with glad and generous hearts praising God and having the good will of all the people. And, day by day, the LORD added to their number those being saved.” - Acts 2:46-47

We are a serving congregation that follows Christ’s example by ministering to those in need; applying time, talent, and treasures to programs that bring Glory to God and sharing Christ’s love with our neighbors and caring for God’s creation.
“And the king will answer them, ‘Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.” - Matthew 25:40

Knowing that God is love and recognizing that we are saved through the grace of Jesus Christ, we are a welcoming fellowship, seeking to join the community in creating and nurturing loving relationships.
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know you are my disciples if you have love for one another. “ - John 13:34-35
