9:15 a.m. Worship Service, "The Gathering"
The Gathering will begin meeting at 9:00 a.m. beginning October 3.
Contemporary Folk Christian music, led by member Ryan Klasan on the guitar. Join in singing your favorite contemporary praise songs.
10:55 a.m. Worship Service
Traditional Christian music, led by Organist/Choirmaster Marvin Gaspard on our beautiful pipe organ and grand piano. Our Chancel and handbell choirs sing at this service each Sunday. For special services throughout the year, we have guest musicians such as violin, harp, brass and jazz trio.
Chancel Choir
Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 7:30 p.m. in the choir room.
With the exception of a 6-week summer vacation, the choir sings each Sunday, year round. There are several time during the year when the Chancel Choir sings special music for services like our Service of Stained Glass (centered on St. Luke's beautiful stained glass windows), Jazz Communion, and Christmas. Occasionally, ensembles from the choir perform special pieces and solos are sung by gifted members.
Each fall, the Chancel Choir has a retreat of music rehearsal and fun to jump start learning the music for Advent and Christmas. Every now and then the choir has fun performing music for church events such as "Bits of Broadway", "Great Caruso Night" and caroling for our Live Nativity.
Handbell Choir
Rehearsals are most Sundays at 12:15 p.m. (Check the church calendar.)
The St. Luke's Ringers, under the direction of Jayne Manry, add joy to our worship services on a regular basis. It is not uncommon for the St. Luke's Ringers to join in on choir anthems or add their peals to congregational hymns.
If you love to ring or want to learn something new, consider uniting with our handbell choir. Adults and youth are welcome.
