Adult Sunday school: Continuing with our series of Great World Religions, our class study is on Christianity. The class begins with a DVD presentation by Professor Johnson and follow with class discussion
Children's Classes- Rooms 115 & 113
Youth - Fifth Grade + "Serendipity Bible"- The youth, many of which just completed confirmation class, study Bible texts with questions for text printed in the margin of the "Serendipity Bible". The questions go from ice breaker, to knowledge, and finally to deeper faith questions. In addition to their studies the class functions as a Youth Group as well. There are events outside of class and during class in which the class will engage in volunteer work (Grace Bags, worship functions, Church raffles, etc.) and fellowship (Dave and Busters, etc). This class is led by our Pastor Scott Harbison.
Pre-K to Fourth Grade - One Room Classroom - We are using a continuation of the curriculum we have been using called "Leaper's Pointe". This curriculum by Abingdon Press is titled "Deep Blue" for this upcoming semester. Resources include arrival activities, group activities for hearing, understanding, and experiencing the Bible, activities to encourage contemporary application to the children's lives, worship activities, reproducible activity sheets, and DVD (video segment for each class along with Music Videos). This class provides a brilliant and relaxed format for your child to learn more about faith and belief in Jesus. This class is taught by Steve Hurysz, Karen Mayer, and Don Mims
Nursery - Quality nursery services are provided during Sunday school through the end of Worship Service (9-11 AM) each Sunday
