Rev. William S. Harbison – Pastor
Rev. William S. (Scott) Harbison began his ministry at St. Luke’s on June 18, 2007. Prior to being called to St. Luke’s Scott served for eight years at First Presbyterian Church in Tomball, Texas. He was ordained February 19, 1995, and previously served churches in South Carolina and New York. Ministries involving camp leadership, youth, recreation, and young adults in the Presbytery of New Covenant for 10 years tapped his enthusiastic and energetic talents. This enthusiasm is one of the many gifts he brings to St. Luke’s.
His unique gifts to serve and create relationships include the ability to listen, to bring a sense of joy to his ministry, to lend a sympathetic ear, and to pastor to those in need. He is equally ready to teach as well as learn from those whom God places in his path.
Scott and his wife Debbie live in the Spring Branch area of Houston. He is father to three wonderful daughters. He is a family-involved dad who loves learning with his daughters. A true sports fan, he is a big follower of the Houston Texans, the Astros, and the Bulldogs of Mississippi State.
